On the edge of the Howgills

Explored the Howgill range of mountains today, and found this great little barn and trees on the edge of the range. Still some snow around, and quite extensive in places, but not as much as yesterday.

To get this shot, I used a 0.6 ND grad filter over the lens, and to get the height needed to shoot over the wall, I stood on the roof of the Defender.

One year ago was a particularly wonderful day in Borrowdale, surprisingly, still with a fair amount of snow.
