Over to Shapinsay and a cycle to RSPB Mill Dam, Vasa Loch and The Ouse. The seals that pull out by the pier at Balfour and the shop are probably the most chilled in Orkney, really not bothered by people, at least as long as they don't actually approach. This one was very relaxed and had a good stretch moments later, extra, and another had a bit of an itchy chin. Birds around: masses of wigeon, teal, mallard and greylags, lots of lapwings, curlews, turnstones etc
