was shining here on the sand hills and emphasising the green of the mosses that grow here. The first extra puts the area in context and showing the higher tops still have snow cover. The second extra shows what I came to find, the Blue or Mountain Hare! He is sunbathing outside his burrow. Brown Hares don’t have burrows but Blues use them. He is only half and half white at the moment but will be fully white soon.
