Just another year

This is the cover of my 2022 calendar. It is an extensively fettled photograph, taken through my car’s windscreen, during a heavy shower of sleet, of fields adjacent to the car park at Tebay Services on the southbound M6 motorway. I tried to convert an upland scene into a stormy sea.

It was too wet and miserable to venture out today so I have been cheering myself up by reading some 20th century British history.
