A Wet Bet

A trip to Haydock Races, a dad and lad day.

Miserable weather which arrived for the first race and not the last as originally forecast. With the rain came darkness, the last race almost run in the dark itself.

Gave the boy a fiver a race, he had a winner in the last to bring his losses to just tenner. If he hadn't changed his mind and 'got off' Blaklion he would have been up. So 2 lessons....

1. Never change your mind
2. LOSING is more likely than winning
