Chokka season

These boats, viewed from my deck upstairs, have been fishing all night this week.
This photo shows them anchored together, but in the evening they spread out and are brightly lit as the fisherman catch the chokka/squid/calamari
I love calamari. Unfortunately the calamari that is caught here is mainly for export, and in restaurants the  calamari that we eat, is often from Norway. Strange....
Covid continues to spread here, and many in our village are affected. My neighbours to the right and opposite have Covid.  Fortunately the symptoms are not too severe.
