Midday at the lake

We sat on a bench to ponder, looking back on the past year, expressing our thoughts on the year to come.
Malcolm's quote:
"Sometimes I sits and thinks
and sometimes I just sits".

Looking back over the past two years, since his accident, it has been a very long, turbulent, rocky, journey for us both. It's now time for new adventures and new friendships. We are optimistic about the coming year and grateful for the possibilities of new beginnings here by the lake of Lugano. I am grateful too for the support and kindness of so many of you blippers during some of those dark days. Thank you.

As we sat there in the warm midday sun, we watched the birdlife, a brave lady who went for a dip, children playing, a couple of kayakers and one or two boats in the far distance.
