Kirkham Priory

The hubby and I took ourselves (and the dog) out for a long walk, with a lovely pub lunch halfway at Kirkham, to celebrate our freedom. It was too far for my post-Covid body and on the way back to the car I really struggled. Hey ho. You live and learn. I guess this virus takes its toll more than we realise.

I was looking forward to a decent run this week, but perhaps I'll give it a few more days yet...

Other than the last couple of miles it was fantastic. Warm, pretty and a muddy squelch-fest! Now lazing on the sofa recovering. Something smells good from the kitchen...katsu chicken I suspect.
