Yarn bombing

I cycled over to the vets today to pick up some cat food, and on the way back I saw this post box topper brightening up the street.

My glasses were fitting better but I decided that I'd get an even better result by swapping the arms of my new glasses with my old ones that were more comfortable. They're the same design, just the arms are different.

It didn't go as planned. My son helped me and ended up doing it; it was very fiddly; and some of the glue holding the washers in place got removed and so the new arm on the old glasses is loose. Not a problem unless I want to put it back on the new glasses.

And now I'm not sure that the old arm is more comfortable. Maybe the side of my head is just sore. But I can't do much about it now.
