at long last

At long last the L-bracket for my (not so) new camera arrived after having ordered it in May. For once Brexit isn't to blame but probably Covid 19. I obviously had to try it out and took a spherical panorama of our living room (see extra and interactive version on my website). The bracket is really well made and does the trick. 

Afternoon walk into town for fresh air. We had hoped we might be able to stop for a pint but looks like most pubs are closed. So a cafe had to do. Took photos of some anti-vaxx stickers but decided not to post them. They were by some right wing organisation which misappropriated the name of the German anti-fascist group Weisse Rose. I should keep a set of stickers in my pockets to overprint the anti-vaxx nonsense.

Watched Don't Look Up on netflix which is highly recommended. Scientists are trying to warn that the Earth is about to be destroyed by an incoming comet. The reaction of politicians, the media and society in general is as you'd expect: the problem is ignored or seen as an opportunity. There are clear parallels to our behaviour towards climate change. Although the film is a satire I fear it might be more of a documentary.
