Winter Postcard

At last the last of the 'stuff to be stored' is safely stowed in the loft. Friend I kindly helped me lug it up the ladder, and also kindly brought and planted a variety of daffodil and lily bulbs in my otherwise sparse little garden. We celebrated both of these achievements with egg & chips, coffee and stodgy cake at a nice little cafe, then went for a pretty long stroll to walk it off! This involved a hill climb as you can see and led me to a pretty good vantage point from which to snap the much photographed and oft post-carded Mont Orgueil castle.

Tired this evening - enjoyed some chill time and TV with J.
