Manc Arm

These are my good friends Miss K and Mister J. She's a non-smoking mother of one, he's a beard yeilding father of the same one. Their son calls his belly button his "belly bonnet", which is always very cute to hear. Smart kid too; he can differentiate between lead guitars and bass guitars by pointing to them in magazines. He's only two.

Went to see Doves at O2 Academy, Sheffield, t'other night. Met Mr Richard Hawley in the crowd. Mr Hawley only came onto my radar when he played guitar on and co-wrote Elbow's song The Fix. Elbow are one of my favourite bands so I can finally say that I have met them, albeit in a twice-removed-not-really-met-them kinda way.

Alas, t'is almost the weekend and a bank holiday one to boot! May the sun shine bright and the lager flow golden. Have a good one.
