String theory...

It appears that this string is non-relatavistic string. Apparently, if it were relativistic string, it would behave somewhat differently. Also, if it were relatavistic string, I suspect I'd have an endless procession of sub-atomic physicists beating a path to my door to have a look. When I say sub-atomic physicists, I mean physicists who study sub-atomic structures, not physicists who them selves are unreasonably and unfeasibly small.

It seems that the string world is full of open strings and closed strings, Planck lengths and lots of mathematical formulae that once upon a time I would have been able to understand. Nowadays, I am more comfortable with this non-relatavistic type of string that can be picked up, stretched and measured with a ruler.
