Tree/twig

I decided to buy the kind of tree we had when I was a child. After years of spending an inordinate amount on a Nordmann Fir with its thick glossy needles I had forgotten how spiky and sharp the old trees were. Something else I had forgotten was how the needles drop. The pine scent was lovely until it started to resemble toilet cleaner, and the 3x a day hoovering is no fun, so
this 6ft twig will be dismantled and ready for recycling before 2022 I predict!

That’ll teach me to be nostalgic. Next year I hope to get in early enough to rent a tree.
