Batsford Church

Last one of 2021.

We took the motorhome out for a run today,  to Batsford arboretum. Just to spin some oil around the engine and let it get properly warmed up. 

The trees are looking quite wintery and the vast majority of the colour we saw on our blipmeet a few weeks back has now gone.  All the same,  good to get out in the fresh air, and with few visitors, it was not difficult to keep a reasonable distance from others. 

I've always liked the village church so this is two vertical images put together as a panorama in Lightroom.  Seen in large you can enjoy the stone texture and also see what a dogs breakfast I made of tidying up the cross on top of the spire.

Hope everyone has a good new year, although for half the planet it is already 2022.
