Lang may yer lum reek!

I wonder what the room is like behind the window in the chimney stack.  Seems a very strange place to have a window. And the room must be very small to accommodate all the flues, but it appears to be the end of a narrow attic space.

The swans were busy preening themselves today, getting spruced up for New Year; as I’ve still got quite a few extras left, here a some of the swan titivations. 

Also, a picture of a rose - since the weather is so mild.
