Saw not too sore
I returned to Salisbury Hospital today ( yes, another day trip) to have the dressings changed. Good healing.
This meant Cast number 6 and I reverted to red.
The photo shows the Orthopaedic Specialist using a cast saw to cut along the length of the cast. This turns it into a bivalve structure.
The saw has a toothed, circular blade which does not rotate but vibrates and cuts the material. If it touches the skin, no harm is done. In fact it tickles!
