Useless!

Having spent more than a week trying to obtain lateral flow tests and no stock in our town, plus no delivery slot available on the website, when I developed a very sore throat I wished I had a test kit.
I do get sore throats due to reflux but yesterday hear of someone whose sore throat was his Covid symptom. I have read articles about the fully vaccinated hving very mild symptoms and not the 3 listed on the government website!
To cut a long story short - I could not get a lateral flow test nor a PCR test. If I selected that I did not have any of those 3 symptoms I was not allowed a PCR test and if I selected that I had any symptoms I was suitable for the PCR test - BUYT there were none available for delivery and so I had to go to a test centre for one - as in the list in the photo above. I live in the NW. No test centres available! 
Look at the list - how can most people get any test at all - so what do you do - presume you have Covid and isolate or presume you haven't and risk spreading it?
What a fiasco.
Fortunately for me, later this afternoon, a neighbour had see my moan on facebook, had spare lateral flow tests and popped a kit through my porch letterbox. The test proved negative. I had stayed in all day for nothing!

Spare photo is of a Christmas card which we received from a neighbour we've known for 20 years and she knows (or always did before) that my partner's name is Terry! Especially since our card to her said from Marilyn & Terry.
I will be glad to start a new year!
