Formentera!!!

Ah what a brilliant couple of days on Ibiza's little sister island, Formentera! I'll backblip now...
We got to the island around lunchtime and headed straight to a picnic on one of my favourite beaches - Illetes. In the background you can see Es Vedra and Ibiza too... A perfect time making sandcastles, finding jellyfish, exploring and just having a lovely time. Back to the hotel for baths (a bath!!!) and then out for sunset at one of Formentera's 2 lighthouses. Gorgeous colours and views...
Dinner at the restaurant beneath the hotel...then reading in bed with the kids. Just perfect. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The hotel being just brilliant - very basic but exactly what we wanted and needed and right in the middle of the island in Sant Ferrán.
2) This chance to escape to somewhere SO beautiful and enjoy a couple of days just the 4 of us.
3) Getting to the bit of beach I've always wanted to, where there's sea on both sides of you!
