Too much action
Definitely!
My relaxing horse-ride turned out to be a mission to keep the horse in control, lots of shying away from things, and having a hunting dog out of control run around him in circles did not make Boy's mood better.
In the afternoon, we hiked up to a nearby peak and had a dog incident. A runner with his dog passed by in speed, the guy ignored us, even seeing us immediately jumping towards our dog's lead in the obvious attempt to stop her. Surely, she felt threatened by the dog and man running towards her, and she went into attack mode as I had no chance to let her sit down or take her by her collar. I got some burns on my hand from the lead running through it. He could have stopped seeing us to first check if everybody will be alright, but no, why should he? Unfortunately, I think that is how people are mainly today.
We are now sitting at home with very loud music, with Djeili's first NYE fireworks panic attacks starting, jumping on us and scratching our faces. Guess we will have to wait until 1:30 to have a pee walk for her, hoping the situation has calmed down.
The Swiss government also declared today that taking Omicron in account they will "sit tight and assess" (if you have watched Don't look up!, you will get my drift).
So yeah, going into the New Year like...
At least it was great weather today, we had good food, and spent the day together.
