Surfing in April in Scotland

This us a photo from yesterday of my courageous youngest who went to a surfing lesson at Aberdeen beach.
Apparently he managed to get up and stay up for some seconds. It was however freezing! Plus side we had no problem getting him into the shower afterwards.

Had a lovely drive down today with stop offs at "the store" in Foveran for mum to get some nice meat.

Visited "wool for ewe " where the ever helpful staff helped me to get wool for a jumper.

Next stop Brechin castle garden Center for a very tasty lunch.

Afternoon tea was at Gloagburn farm shop near Perth where I had an amazingly tasty spiced pear cake with toffee sauce.

We then dropped mum off at my sister in laws house before heading down to spend a few nights with my parents before heading for York

Lovely leisurely journey and hopefully no ill effects for mum. Hoping to get some photos of Arran tomorrow if weather stays fine.
