A bit breezy!

New Years Eve last year was a gorgeous day, with snow dusting the tops and blue skies. Today couldn't have been much different - drizzly, overcast and windy - really windy!

We thought a walk through the woods at Crummock would give us some shelter, and a walk round some of the shore would give some pics. However, last night's heavy rain meant that the bridges over the weir were innaccessible due to flooding, so we tried the other way (past the boat house) - and were still prevented from flood water. Really didn;t rea;lise how much it had rained.

From the end of the lake however, I did get some cracking water spouts, so we still got a decent blip.
