Happy New Year!

Apologies for my total absence yesterday, but we were hosting our biennial New Year’s  Eve dinner with our great friends Nic and Elaine. This year, we will be celebrating 40 years of friendship since we met on a donkey ride in Morocco - long story! Our Hogmanay celebrations alternate between here and Nottingham - though as last year Covid got in the way, this year it was even more special. 

So a day of preparations followed by an evening of dining and wining left little time for anything else, I’m afraid - and I must admit to feeling pretty tired today - tired rather than hung over I might add! 

So here’s to a 2022 that’s so much better than 2021 for all of us!
