Pannier Tank on Tenterden Bank

Back on the KESR Railway again today, Fourth turn in 7 days. This time as Crossing Keeper at Cranbrook Road. Another trainee, learning how to work the level crossing. This allows me the opportunity to take some shots and experiment with the camera. (as well as watching the trainee)

This was taken at full zoom as the train appeared around the curve and storming up Tenterden Bank approaching the level crossing. It's the same engine as last Friday.

Two people in the Crossing Keeper's hut having only met in the morning for the first time is an interesting experience for both of us! But on all the occasions I've had a trainee or been a trainee in this hut time has passed very quickly. You meet some very interesting people.

Back at the railway again on Monday, last turn until May.
