The so-called Golden Bridge, which is more silver on the inner sides, did appear to be somewhat golden this evening.
Weather today was as forecast. Heavy rain arrived in the morning, fortunately after I'd reached work, and continued throughout the day. The large bank of cloud only just starting to move away at sunset time, which resulted in the above.
Did a large stitched panorama on the way to work from the Black Isle side of the Kessock Bridge. No way to make the water all match up nicely, but the buildings coast and other non-moving bits did stitch together okay - added as an extra, or here for a large zoom-able version (once it loads up).
Thief about - someone opened up my (empty) cycle panniers and had a rifle about, damaging one in the process, and left them wide open. There was tear down the back of one of them prior to this, but now it's all the way down, so it's no longer usable. Swapped it for different type I'd bought in Aldi a while back. Daft thing was that there was no need to open the original panniers to tell if there was anything in them, as you could feel if there was through the fabric, so the perpetrator isn't the brightest button. Will need to park in a position that's more clearly visible to the overlooking CCTV camera.
