Return to senda...

Cabranes is a small rural concejo, and a river runs through it. About 2006, with European funds, the town hall had built a pedestrian path, a "senda" in Spanish, that travels through about half the concejo. The work was done by local people on job creation schemes. The senda is very popular with people wanting a light walk. For much of its distance it passes through trees, many of them old. I´m showing here two, one an old chestnut I think.
