Memorial

Got up rather late then went for a walk along the WoL - came back via a loop round the swing bridge, so paused at the Merchant Navy memorial. I like the way the sunlight was catching the little figures. I'd been thinking about the Evans a lot as it's exactly two years since I waved him off at Waverley station, little thinking that I would never see him again. He was travelling back to Brussels from Orkney.

Wishing all blippers a happy new year - I certainly hope it's better than 2021!!
