new year’s day began as usual with enjoying the New Year’s concert from Vienna……such a joy to hear and see beautiful music, ballet, nature and cities in that beautiful city….such a cheerful  start!

somehow the day just went after that….the blip is roasting  vegetables for my carrot and sweet potato soup……the taste will be a surprise as i have never eaten it….

Today i read the Cancer research leaflet i received ‘changes in your appearance….’ i like to be prepared …..but i am quite apprehensive…..
the leaflet conformed what i thought already…. 
but it gave useful tips like: take someone you know well when you go out for the first time and be prepared for people to stare at you….and when you look in the mirror after the op a nurse will come with you……

i also took a nice selfie….. all part of saying goodbye and preparing for wednesday……i am so glad my Shepherd leads me and promised never to leave me…..
