New Year Walk

Firstly let me wish you a Happy New Year.

So as is a tradition with many a folk on the 1st, we ventured out for a walk to clear the lungs try try and get rid of the extra food and drink that has been consumed over the festive period.

My sisters oldest laddie, Cameron is up for a few days staying with my mum and dad and he popped over today to join us.

He is about to embark on an adventure, firstly to the states for 3 months and then of to either Africa of Asia...Destination unknown presently.

He is joining a group called Y.W.A.M. (Youth with a Mission) and there is a certain amount of excitement, intrepidation etc building up to his departure from these shores in a couple of days time.

I'm sure he will create many memories whilst he is away and I will look forward to the many stories that he will recall - and I'm sure there will be many and know doubt we will hear all about them!
