Desert Portrait

a trip to The Joshua Tree national park this morning to stage a family photo...which always turns out to be a bit more of an event the one had anticipated. Eventually a satisfactory family pose was achieved - one in which  everyone had an acceptable facial expression and no one blinked - an we could all go for lunch.
