Birthday girl

R has her birthday on 31st December.  On the way back here from North Walsham this morning, they called into Waitrose and bought cupcakes as a birthday cake.  It was just going to be 12, but then Milo insisted on adding another four with the extravagant pink buttercream on the top.  So we've been stuffing ourselves since!

See the extra of the boys (in their new Christmas dresses) helping to blow out the candles.  And the second extra of the boys investigating some of the presents we bought for them.

In the evening, after getting the boys to bed, we were able to enjoy a civilized adult meal of nut and lentil loaf with roast veggies, and all but G stayed up till midnight to see out 2021, and welcome in 2022.
