New Year's Day

Another day, another year.  The best comment regarding the new year I've heard so far was from comedian Jon Richardson "2022, well it has three 2s in it!", and I think that just about sums it up.  Anyway, regardless of what this year is going to throw at us, I wish you all a Happy New Year!

I spent this morning making a curry that we had for lunch then this afternoon I went for a walk along the canal.  There were a few people with the same idea, but social distancing seems to be the norm now when out and about, especially with the omicron variant being so rampart.

This pair of swans didn't seem to be disturbed by the passing people.
