New Year's Day

Am tired today. Stayed up until after 1am. Sadly, not partying but keeping hound company while fireworks blasting off. As I write at 7.20pm fireworks are blasting now, the radio is on deafening level, attempting to mask the noise.  Hound is already stressing out. We're double glazed but it sounds like it's in our front garden and we're under mortar attack!  Groan.

Managed to get some washing dry outside today on the warmest January day since . . .
Enjoying quiet day with some cooking, walking hound and reading.  Earlier night tonight
