A New Day

Scott's View

Too many choices today! I've changed my mind half a dozen times about which picture to blip, but time is running out, so it will have to be this one!

In the morning we had visits from a thrush, two yellowhammers, a woodpecker and a pheasant (the last two together in the same photo!)

In the afternoon, my blip-driver and I went for a tour through the Angus Glens again, so would it be the ruined castle at Balintore, the herd of Highland Cattle with their beautiful babies, the red deer running up a steep hill, the two rabbits sheltering in a snow house or the granite memorial to Captain Scott and Dr Wilson of North Pole fame? Decisions, decisions!

In the end, I give you Glen Prosen, looking beautiful in the snow and the blue sky and this particular aspect is known as Scott's View because the Captain often visited here to consult with Wilson about the expedition they were soon to undertake. Hope he saw it looking like this:-)
