Seaside

I took the girls out to lunch by the seaside before visiting the care home this afternoon. I snowed all the way there and turned to sleet later.

My step-dad is doing well, getting stronger by the day. But he's now being tested for dementia. He didn't score well on the memory test, he has a blood test tomorrow and then hopefully a CT scan soon. I'll be glad to find out the results but scared for him if he does have it. He'll just get worse and I can honestly say that I know he won't cope well with it.

I told my sister today that she needs to pay backdated rent to him. This didn't go down well!!
