Lago di Albano

Another back blip... This was quite a day: we had decided to do a home test every morning before meeting our mom, to make sure that we did not have Covid, mostly to protect my mom.  Mr. B. tested positive on two different boxes: it scared us and the idea of spending the vacation in quarantine was not thrilling.  We both went to the testing site in town, and luckily we both tested negative. 
In the afternoon, we went to the Albano Lake for a walk: it was used in the 1960 Olympics games for the canoe and Kayak races.  The town closest to the lake is Castel Gandolfo, where the Pope summer residence is located, even though in recent years it has not been used that much.
