Happy 2022

and the years that follow...

The Grand Fondo turned out to be a bit too ambitious. We wanted to make a tour around Aachen, but hadn't taken into account the short daylight and certainly not the too short night. I got tired and hungry and rode like a snail up the last hill. We were back home right when the sun went down.
I could have finished the last 12 kilometer after having rested and eaten enough, actually, but who wants to cycle after a good Chinese meal and also in the dark?
