Tumble

Lazy start to the new year with a lie in then some PJ time watching Harry Potter film with Kt. She’s a huge fan and I’ve never read the books or seen the films although have absorbed a lot of the stories from cultural osmosis.
We got a call from Mt saying he was 10 mins away…dashed to get dressed and ready for him and the kids arriving.
He brought bags of food and we spent the day chatting, relaxing, watching more of the films (think AR was captivated and I suspect will start on the books soon) and grazing. T woke late, having only got in at 8.30am, but helpfully provided a playmate for Mx by being a climbing frame for him and then playing rock paper scissors for ages (with creative rules!).
I took the wee ones to the park and around the field for an hour to let the others chill a bit, then after they’d left I made some roast poussins and baked potatoes and salad before we played UNO and then watched The Tourist….gripping stuff.
It’s been a very laid back and sociable day
