New Year’s Day

This morning we thought we would go out on our bikes. As one of the grandchildren left their water bottle which they will need for school next week in our car so we got ready to go out then it started to rain. So we waited for a minute or two. Then it stopped  so off we went with our flask of coffee and some mince pies. The nearer to Reading we got it started to rain again , so we went to the Forbury garden and stood in the bandstand under cover to have our coffee. By the time we finished our coffee and had once again stopped raining so we cycled over to our daughter. Stood on the door step to talk to her. She is feeling better. But still no taste or smell. 
It started to rain again as we left there house. 
After lunch we popped up to see my mum.
