Grandmother

I was sorting through some papers today and I found a slightly worse for wear copy of my maternal grandmother's birth certificate, 10th August 1899. I note that the copy was obtained 3 weeks after my grandfather died in January 1955 aged just 55. l don't remember him as I had only turned 1 in December 1954. My grandmother died in September 1968 aged 69 when i was 14. I remember her well. A lovely kind lady who spoiled me a lot. Now we are in 2022 it all seems so long ago.
