Limone Sul Garda and Riva

Happy New Year, Blippers. We had a free morning, Italians are very civilized and pushed breakfast back to 8 am. We wandered into the town where a few shops were open. I stocked up on olives and olive oil then bought a leather handbag, as you do when in Italy. The bus took is to Arco at 1 pm where we wandered around the Christmas markets. I am not sure if they normally go until the New Year or they are making up for lost time. Next stop was Riva where another Christmas market was. We had lunch there - I don’t remember what it was called but it was delicious if not filling. It was a shredded potato pancake, a bit like a Kartoffel Puffer but not as crispy, filled with melted cheese and prosciutto. Perfect for a chilly afternoon. We went back to the hotel where there was time for me to soak in a hot tub before dinner. My arthritis is playing up in the cold weather and the bath did me a world of good. the Blip is Hubby in Limone in the cilly morning sunshine. The extras are more pictures of Limone. The afternoon pictures are still in camera and haven’t had time to look at them! The hotel Wi-Fi is non existent so am posting on the bus as we drive through the Dolomites
