Within Range

We headed over to V&A 's in Blair Atholl this morning for walk followed by lunch. 

Our walk took us through the Castle Gardens and then up to the rifle range which gives great views of the Glen.  The weather was kind and it felt good to get my first "proper" hike of the year done (my definition of "proper" being over 5 miles which I want to do more of this year). It was also V's birthday which added to the sense of occasion.

On returning to Blair Atholl we meet one of her neighbours who was someone I knew from my student days in Glasgow many, many years ago. It's a small world !
