Purple tentacle
Knowing that today is the last of the unseasonably warm weather before the cold returns, Mr hazelh and I took our bikes on an outing this afternoon. We cycled to Cramond and back. I blipped this tentacle on the way. It's currently displayed on the side of the Telford Road bridge.
It's also Mummy hazelh's last day of her stay with us. Tomorrow morning I will travel with her by train to Berwick so that I can pass her into the care of my middle sister and brother-in-law (Paddy's parents). The plan is that Mummy hazelh will have a night with them on Holy Island, and then they will all travel south to West Sussex by car on Tuesday. My visit to Berwick will be brief. I will be there just long enough to execute the handover and then catch the next LNER train north again.
The work on my article progresses...
Exercise today: 13.2 mile cycle ride.
