Beach walk

We meet Ailsa in Gullane and walk along the coast. It’s windy, but not cold. There are lots of folk playing golf and occasional signs warning “beware of flying golf balls”.

The tide is still coming in as we make our way back to the car. We’re hungry, but Gullane is busy and there are no tables at any of the inns. But there is space at the Tyneside in Haddington. Fish and chips for my colleagues and a veggie lasagna for me.

Then back to Dolphinton.
