New Years Day walk around the campus. The picture is of the Stiltehuis in the woods.
According to the Dutch version of Wikipedia... "The Jesuit Court was built by the Jesuits in the early 17th century . In 1622 the manor was set on fire by Protestants. Subsequently, the estate came into the hands of the Leuven notary Gérard Stas, who transformed it into a landscape park with a pavilion. He also carried out works on the mansion itself. In 1829 the domain was bought by the Dukes of Arenberg. They used the building as a hunting lodge. From 1870, the dukes rented out the estate to the Josephites of the Holy Trinity College in the center of Leuven. At the beginning of the 20th century they built sheep stables on the domain. In 1924 the Josephites bought the manor of the Dukes of Arenberg. In 1949 the manor was recognized as a protected monument. Since August 2011, the Catholic University of Leuven has owned the estate. Since 2015, the country house has served as a Silent House."
