Scraping the barrel

It's hard to find interesting subjects from within the four walls of our house and it's even been too wet and miserable to venture into the garden.  Today's offering is therefore a bottle of gin which lights up when a button is pressed on the base.  The port jug behind it was quite full before Christmas but we've drunk it all.
In other news: pupils in secondary schools in England have been asked to wear masks in classrooms as well as corridors.  Presumably they can still take them off to eat and drink at lunchtime.  They have also been urged to take part in onsite testing when they return to school.  That'll be fun for schools with a couple of thousand pupils.
