Nativity search

Just before Christmas my friend Paul told me that Kirdford church had a brilliant knitted nativity so today we decided we would go and see it. I have to say it was amazing, really sweet and so well made. While we were admiring the knitted handiwork a lady came in the church and it turned out she was the lady who had knitted it! ( she gave me the pattern number so I could make one too). She had also knitted another smaller one which was on display at Plaistow church a few miles away so we went to see that one too -see extra 1. On our way home we found the 3rd example ( not knitted) outside Kirdford chapel.
Definitely a good day!
