Whirling Dervish

Because of the skyrocketing Covid cases here and in NYC,  it isn't likely that we will be going to NY for her birthday in January, so we decided to have a mini, early celebration while they are here.  We had confetti-covered tea cakes, with the requisite 5 candles and we all wore birthday tiaras, hers, of course, is pink.  We gave her 4 books in her new favorite series.

After dinner, she entertained us with a dancing/singing performance which she likes to do in the family room because she can see her reflection in the glass fireplace screen and the TV.  She especially likes to dance to "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus. We will soon all know the words to it.
