What struck my fancy

In the sensory garden, Boston Square, Hunstanton Norfolk UK.

The tower of St Botolph's Church (in the Lincolnshire town of Boston) is visible - from this garden - on a clear day, some 20 miles away across The Wash. The name Botolph's Town is quite a mouthful and understandably had been contracted to Boston from where the Pilgrim Fathers sailed to The Netherlands in 1607 to settle in Leiden. After a few years they had difficulties with the Dutch and left for America. Other Lincolnshire-based Puritans left Boston for America around 1630.

If so inclined do look at the map view and zoom out to appreciate the geography.
