Ivinghoe

As it was dry today we decided to travel a bit further for a change of walking route.  We rejected the main Ashridge visitor car park (teeming with people, cars everywhere - some stuck in mud and having difficulty getting out) and went on to Ivinghoe Beacon.  The wind was quite chilly, but it was a lovely walk to the top of the beacon and around in a loop. The views are splendid (although they would have been more photogenic with a little sun).

Afterwards we went on to visit the Pitstone windmill.  We haven't been there for a long while.  The light was failing by then but I still took a couple of pics for the record.
